Lightsaber 101 Workshop

What better way to engage your con goers that to give them the opportunity to become a Jedi?…or a Sith!

In this workshop, participants can learn the safe and exciting moves stunt coordinators use in the movies. This hands on workshop for 30 people or demo for an entire theatre demystifies the illusion of violence and allows participants to get a behind the scenes look at their favorite fandom.

We will provide the “practice sabers” and the instruction as we guide new learners step by step through the basic principles of a lightsaber duel. By the end of the workshop they will be able to perform a short fight of their own and will walk away with the feeling that the Force truly is with them.
